Here’s a neat thing: It’s an Exquisite Corpse project that combined the talents of Giant Ant, a few of our Bootcamp Alumni, and Antfood with a little extra motivation from the folks at Red Giant. 2016 AICP Sponsor Reel – Dir Cut, by Method Design

By Inspiration No Comments

Method Design was tapped by production company RSA to concept and create this year’s AICP Sponsor Reel. The AICP awards celebrate global creativity within commercial production. Method Design wanted to create an entertaining piece of design that encapsulates the innovative and prolific nature of this industry. Our aim was to showcase the AICP sponsors as various dancing avatars, which playfully reference the visual effects used throughout production. Motion capture, procedural animation and dynamic simulations combine to create a milieu of iconic pop dance moves that become an explosion of colorful fur, feathers, particles and more.

Nexium 24HR: What is acid reflux?, by Sarah Beth Hulver

This is the first project I have had the pleasure of leading at GS. I had the chance to design and set up characters for animation, design full storyboards for 4 spots (with immense help from JP Rooney, Hana Yean, & Nick Iluzada), animate elements, and help put together 4 conforms. It was my first time leading a full team (with Matt Andrews as lead animator), as well as interacting with clients and assessing feedback. Read more here: http://ift.tt/1Tm9aov

A Tale of Two Zip Codes, by BLACKMATH

By Inspiration No Comments

What determines how long we live? The surprising thing to us was that adjacent communities can have a 15 year-difference in life expectancy. Your preconditioned brains might attribute this to dramatic factors like drugs and violence (ours did). But the causes are actually more sinister: heart disease, obesity, and diabetes, all of which can be linked to Chronic Stress and stem directly from economic inequality. So we are all implicated… and we hope you learn as much from this 4-minute video as we did in the 15 years it took us to make it.

Thank you George Takei for lending us your voice!
